Summer Vacation July 2010

We're having a great vacation this summer with Nana and Papa.
The weather is perfect and the Teton's are beautiful!

Teaching Philosophy
I want my students to freely choose to bring music into their lives, to attend lessons, practice, and continue on the path of musicianship. My role is to guide and support them on this journey, not only as their piano teacher, but as their music teacher.
I will encourage my students to:
*Regularly play piano for fun and self-expression.
*Be able to independently work out a piece from unknown to mastered.
*Have a general knowledge of Western music history & major composers.
*Establish new friendships through participation in music activities.
*Enjoy sharing music with others.
*Gain enhanced learning skills, such as how to divide a project into sequential tasks.
*Remember piano lessons as a positive experience.
